Hazzard not a place on Earth but in the heart

I have said this a bunch tymez before and I'll say it again in two ways. Hazzard County is not as much a place on Earth but a place in ones heart. Another view is : You can take the man out of Hazzard County, but you can never take Hazzard County out of the man. With that said, I wonder could we take Hazzard County out of Idaho? Maybe transplant Hazzard say to Utah, or Wyoming? With the increased pure unalterated bullshit that I have undergone since stupidly moved back to Idaho I'm beginning to look at ways to remove Hazzard and its graces out of a state and or area that does not treasure Hazzard as much as I do. While moving the memories and the real locations of those memories out of Idaho would be a real effort, taking Our Hazzard County out of Idaho might just be a project looking into. A few years back I was in tune to watch a community, a planned residential community spring up on the mountain desert just outside of Lehi Utah, to become Eagle Mountain Utah. Now a bubbling community. The goal of the developers was to make available a nice home, with a reasonable price tag in a private community, free from Utah's taxation etc. However Eagle Mountain never stayed private long, it became very public. Not sayin that those who made that up were all that above board but the basic idea was good. Now out on the eastern end of Utah just outside of Morgan and to the Southside of Woodruff is an area just crying for something to happen. What if, the Knytes were to begin sniffing around and created a planned community called Hazzard, in that area. Where we could live life as WE WANT to, free of oppression and tyranny? Something I'm looking into. Just watch our Knytes site for more on this. Additionally Utah is wide open. If you look at the Mormon communities that have been created for those not in tune with the Union concept Utah might just be a state that COULD secede from the Union and become one of the Confederate States along with Arizona, New Mexico, as well as some parts of Wyoming. God may have blessed this nation , but all too many turned their backs on God and God is pee-owed. And as such we see a nation falling apart faster than Roscoe chasing them Duke boys. There needs to be a change, and that change hazz, Hazzard right in the middle of that change. My thoughts, I could be wrong.

Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.

You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society . They felt they should have a special plan for themselves So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan.

In more recent years, no congress person has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan.

For all practical purposes their plan works like this:

When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die.

There are days that I think, never should have left Utah

There are days like today I gets ta thinkin never should have exited Utah. After all had I stayed, the radio gear I had in reach from KSOP would have been in my hot little hands I could have kept the gear we already had and the list goes on. Not faulting Gooding, or the surrounding area and there is one last breath left, but if that goes sour I really have no choice but to put the get at it and do a U-Haul to Utah.

I used to think Utah was severely restricted, both in attitude and aptitude. Reality is Utah is more industrious than Idaho. Gooding and its nearby neighbors including Hazzard itself while all nice people and all, has not seen an industrial evolution and the exiting jobs and commerce, not to mention tax revenue both from property taxes as well as sales taxes is the result. I used to think that the booze laws of Utah, was a culprit. The fact is Utah in many ways hazz began to right its wrongs. Idaho is looking to becoming a dry state. Saw an article in the Slime News today about some drug store owner in Twinky Flatts who was hoarding a bunch of liquor licenses. Seems as though the ISP/BAC pulled his plug and now he's a bitching about it. Idaho allows a new license for every increase of population of 1,500. But at the rate Idaho is going few areas are increasing in population, let alone 1,500. Idaho is a place where folks go to retire and/or farm, not to create dreams or commerce. The farm side I respect, as I eat and few in even Utah will refute the fact that I sang the song of Production Agriculture in Utah, so loud that it became deafening. Although I'll not be in farming, I give a salute to those who do. As I eat and all who eat are involved in Production Agriculture as the aging sign on the side of a silo near Declo Idaho will attest. But there are rural areas of Utah as well as I have an aging cuzzin there. So if and its a big IF, the deal here in Gooding goes into the toilet, its I'm outta here to Utah. Yes Utah is over taxed and over regulated going towing wise. But there are times I say , should have listened to more gray haired advice from Cuzzin Bud and stayed in Utah. Our hindsite is always 20/20 and while you can't fix history ya'll can learn from it. While moving in winter or during a school term is not wise this living on next to nothing is nearly killing me. Not that I was spilling over in money down there, but I was able to get junk hauling jobs with Lexi there from salvage yards, to salvage yards. Never have been able to do that here. My friend in MH said it best , you really cain't move home. I'm beginning to believe him. Come Spring I'll make that decision. For now just looking at maintaining .

Do ya'll remember them 1900 Psychic lines? That were advertised on TV?

I do, that was about all , ya'll watched during commercial breaks until 00:30 when KMVT-11 went off the air in Hazzard. We had 1 real TV station that came in good, and then KMVT was a combo channel, that had programming from all 3 networks. This was before FoX and the CW. Occasionally we would get KTVB that would drift in if the weather was just right. Many shows I watched in Utah I no longer could watch in Hazzard, simply cuzz it twere not on. Then KIVI came on and with a high enuff Ariel and all 6 would come in , snowy but it would come in Fortunately for me, KMVT was the local CBS station and on Friday nights at 19:00 hours, came them Dukes-of-Hazzard, once bit by all things Hazzard my life was never the same again, or since. Even with the show and purtty shitty movie with actors that were no how, Hazzard as was the original cast was, still some have recovered from Hazzard Fever, me I never have and hope I never do. Hazzard takes me back to a simpler tyme of my life, and as I grow older , Hazzard is a prtty nice and peaceful place to be. I can say this too, if it had not been for the attendance of the cast at my Mom's funeral in 1983, and continued cards, letters, visits and phone calls, this old long haired confederate kountry male corpuscle would have lost my entire mind and would be in a rubber room somewhere. Hazzard allows me to keep ahold of all things that I deem important, and for me real. But getting back them Psychic lines, if them there who wuzz a reading my fortune and all were really future seers , why did I need to give them my phone number? Didn't they already know? For that matter didn't they know when and where I wuzz born? Sounds like a gig Boss Hogg should have been in, more over wonder why Huey Hogg never dealved into that. Any mile life is life. near Daybreak here in Hazzard. Need sleep/.

Another bryte day in Our Hazzard County

Some have sedd and I will here too, that if your going to be branded , myte as well use it. Thus, since the GL was mine once and from that came the fact that me turning a wrench and going towing, here in rural western Idaho I caught the nick name in 1981 as Crazy Cooter, like Ben Jones was on screen on the Dukes, I have led most of my life since as such. Now reality here lately hazz been byting my tail for some time. In that while I love vintage military warbyrds and all there really is no place at least in Western Idaho to apply that affection, but, like it or not , I do have LexiBelle, I can go tow so I'm getting grounded to doing just that. In tyme , build hot rydes under Cooter's Kustmz , but for the short haul just focus on going towing. What tyme I have outside of that will be focused on the Knytes-of-Anarchy, 60% Cooter's Towing, 40% Knytes-of-Anarchy.

Okay then , went down to Hazzard Creek yesterday fishing, something I really like doing. Caught 1 small catfish but the tyme I spend on the bank of Hazzard Creek, watching the ducks, coots and even the swans is peace without the pressure of technology. Just my bamboo fishing pole, orange peel, corn and bug bits, and as said peace. Noticed the tyre swing the Knytes and I put up years ago just over yonder from Hazzard Creek, going over to Oster Lakes is still there. I can remember a few of us, snagging a 12 pack of Colorado KoolAid, and some babes having a whoopdeue over there. That was back when I did not need worry about making a living, just building some of the most bad ass'd rydes in Hazzard County. Mom took care of the books and paid bills, Dad fetched the fixit contracts, and did the farm market gig, all I needed to do was fix the farm equipment, including both tractors and trucks. The rest of the tyme I went fishing, girl fetching and hot rodding. Nothing else was important. The memories from this old farm go far deeper than anyone can imagine. I'm very grateful that the folks who own the farm now, let me fish here on Hazzard Creek that runs between the farm, and the Brailsford canal. Any mile I'm finally home and realizing there are limits to reality versus fiction. Or dreams. I dream of flying, reality is going towing.
